About Me

I am Shabani Aime, a self-taught technologist who somehow started with electronics and Arduino and ended up talking to Python, Flask, OpenCV, YOLO, Kivy, KivyMD, Flet, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as if they were members of my family.

My journey began with electronics and embedded systems, where I learned an important lesson: when something stops working, staring at it intensely does not fix it. πŸ˜„ You eventually have to find the problem.



Over time, my curiosity pushed me deeper into programming, computer vision, mobile apps, and web development. I enjoy taking things apart, understanding how they work, and then attempting to build my own version β€” sometimes successfully, sometimes successfully creating three new problems. But technology, for me, is more than just making machines do clever things. I believe technology should make life better. I don't dream of building machines for war or teaching robots how to fight humans. I'd rather build machines that work in the garden, protect homes with smart sensors, help people in emergencies, and quietly do useful things without someone having to press a button every five minutes.



My goal is simple: make technology useful, intelligent, and a little less annoying. I am still learning, still experimenting, and still breaking things occasionally β€” but I believe that's part of the job. Every error, failed project, and mysterious bug is another lesson waiting to be discovered.



So, I keep learning, building, fixing, and occasionally asking myself, β€œWhy did I even touch this?” πŸ˜„ At the end of the day, I want to create technology that combines intelligence with responsibility β€” machines that work with humanity, not against it.

Before I talk about Experience, I have to talk about the people who made it possible for me to get this far. There is an organization called Code Blossom, and behind it are incredible women like Marion Schleifer, Nadia Baldelli, Sana Abbas, and our amazing mentor Alice. They say behind every successful person there is a great woman β€” in my case, there are several! πŸ˜„ If today I can build pages like this, take on real contracts, and proudly say that six students have already earned money through the skills they gained, it is not because I magically woke up one morning knowing how to code. πŸ˜‚ It is because these women believed in us, gave us assignments that sometimes made us question our life choices, provided laptops, supported our monthly internet, and created an environment where learning could turn into real opportunities.

What started as learning has slowly become something bigger β€” skills becoming work, work becoming income, and students becoming independent professionals. That is the kind of impact that cannot be measured by lines of code alone.

So, before I say anything about my experience, I simply want to say: thank you. Thank you for investing in people, for giving us tools when we needed them, for believing in our potential, and for giving us a chance to prove what we can do.

Where I'm Headed

My goal is to bring together what I already love: electronics repair, Arduino, programming, smart sensors, automation, and AI APIs β€” not necessarily to invent another AI, but to make existing technology work together intelligently. I imagine a future where our homes, gardens, businesses, and machines can sense what is happening, make simple decisions, fix themselves when possible, and handle the boring work without constantly asking for our attention. .

Basically, I want technology to reach the point where life can handle itself while we sleep for 15 hours a day. πŸ˜‚ If the machines can do the work, why are we still awake?
